How Not to Miss a Thing
Hi,
Welcome. Thanks for visiting.
I’ve been a busy little bee lately, working to set up the sites to be inspiring, informative, clear and to work together as one community. Thus I’ve not posted very often.
As mentioned in Thank You for Being Here – Please Read, I’m not very quick at posting. I expect that this will pick up some, but even once we’re all up and running, I still will have quite a bit on my plate.
Therefore, since I never know what I’ll be studying, or when and where I’ll be blogging or “building” from one week to the next, I have set this site up as the home base.
This way, we can find each other. Readers can more easily stay on top of the posts regardless of which of the sites happens to be getting my attention at the time. I’m also hoping it will foster a sense of community amongst the readers and participants of the various sites.
Since some of you will be more Internet-, blog- and Web 2.0-savvy than others, in the interests of helping to bring everyone together as a community, I wanted to outline what I believe will be the most effective ways to go about staying updated and getting connected here:
A. Subscribe to Boundless Abundance Lifestyles updates by e-mail.
Get connected to BAL and stay in the loop. Don’t fail to “get the memo.”
The easiest, and perhaps the most efficient, way to stay updated is to subscribe to receive feed updates by e-mail.
As part of our BAL family, you should be privy to all the goings-on. Subscribing to e-mail updates will ensure that you receive ONE e-mail with all the new posts each day that this BAL blog has new posts. From there you can choose to come here and comment, etc…
You can easily get signed up now, right from this page, by using the form in the top of the sidebar to the right. To make sure your updates are delivered to you, and not filtered into junk mail, be sure to whitelist “noreply@boundlessabundance.com” [without quotes] in your web e-mail account and/or e-mail client. (Instructions for whitelisting can be found at the link.)
B. Join the Boundless Abundance Lifestyles community.
Receiving the feed via e-mail will ensure that you receive all important community news and updates, but joining the community will have you feeling more engaged. You will have more of an opportunity to connect. You will identify yourself as part of a group of people with similar interests and goals.
That said, if you find the subject matter of more than one or two BA sites interesting, I’d encourage you to consider joining the community. Joining our MyBlogLog community will:
- give you your own profile page on which to add your own web sites,
- make whatever information you choose to provide in your profile visible to other like-minded folks so they can visit your sites, leave you messages and become part of your network; and
- enable you to receive periodic broadcasts I may send out to our MyBlogLog community and stay connected to the BAL community as a whole.
Also if our sites go down due to server issues, we would all still be connected via the Boundless
Abundance Lifestyles MyBlogLog community. Our BAL MyBlogCommunity, along with postings on the SpiritFREE1 Updates blog (wordpress.com-hosted), will be a good contingency plan.
Additionally, you might want to consider joining the MyBlogLog community of each site that interests you as each has its own energy and readership. (Do keep an eye on IWannaGetFREE, which I’ve affectionately nicknamed “The Main Event”.)
It will be easier to broadcast to everyone using the Boundless Abundance Lifestyles community, but I may also be sending out periodic broadcasts to any of the others as well… particularly in cases of special site-specific updates.

C. Subscribe to e-mail updates from all of the blogs you find interesting.
There is an e-mail subscription box on right sidebar of each blog. Of course, one could opt to subscribe to the feeds in a feed reader only, which is generally a fine idea, but since I can’t predict the frequency with which I will be posting to each blog (as each one has a different internal “algorithm” for me), the surest way to stay abreast of your favorites is simply to tell the feeds to come find YOU.
(You can also subscribe to e-mail updates for comments as described in point E.)
OR click here to subscribe to e-mail updates for all sites of your choice from one page.
D. Impatient? Want more control? Subscribe to the feeds of your choice in a reader such as MyYahoo, Google, MyAOL, etc…
Someone may ask, “Why subscribe to the feed in a reader if I’m already subscribed via e-mail?” Clearly, this is a matter of personal preference. In this particular case (intermittent posting), if I found the content and atmosphere interesting, I personally would do both.
I’d do this because the e-mail feed gets sent out once in the evening, while a feed reader will make every post available for reading and comment almost immediately after posting.
- The feed reader option gives you more control over when you receive your information and allows you to get involved and comment earlier in the day (i.e. during your afternoon break).
- Meanwhile the e-mail subscription option we discussed in point C, ensures that you don’t miss any posts that might slip by after longer periods of posting inactivity.
(On the right sidebar, each blog that has commenting enabled also includes a subscription icon & link to subscribe to comments in a reader.)
OR click here to subscribe to feeds in a reader for all sites of your choice from one page.
E. To stay on top of a particular conversation, subscribe to comments from within that post.
Each blog that has commenting enabled includes a “Subscribe to comments” link at the bottom of each post. This will allow you to subscribe to comments either in a feed reader or via e-mail.
- You can subscribe to comments in a feed reader from each site’s right sidebar, or by using the “Subscribe to comments” text link at the end of each post.
- Alternatively, at the bottom of the comments form for each single post, you have the option to subscribe to that post’s comments via e-mail.
OR click here to subscribe to comments in a reader for all sites of your choice from one page.
Welcome aboard. I look forward to getting to know you.
Warm regards,
SpiritFREE1SM
